Lisa Palmer, unsere Kollegin drüben bei Buddy TV hatte neulich das Vergnügen bei der Televisions Critics Association (TCA) Press Tour ein paar Worte mit Donald Faison zu wechseln, der dem einen oder anderen vielleicht als Clueless’ Murray oder spätestens seit seiner Rolle des Turk in Scrubs bekannt ist. Getalked wurde über dies und das, einen möglichen Scrubs Film und die Zusammenarbeit mit seinem besten (Serien) Freund Zach Braff (J.D.).

Ich möchte Euch an dieser Stelle nicht länger auf die Folter spannen, zumal diese Interview Snippets nur ein Happen für zwischendurch sind und mehr leider auch nicht. Also:

When I asked Faison about the differences between this series and Scrubs, he immediately told me about his first time in front of a live studio audience. He said, “My heart, literally, you could see it pounding.” Luckily, he went on to say that the audience was great.

Jetzt zum eingemachten, einem möglichen Scrubs-Film:

We also briefly discussed the idea of a Scrubs movie, which he said he’d be happy to do if it came up as long as there was a story to tell and so they could all tell the jokes that didn’t make television. When I joked about how the movie could include nudity, he quipped,”Oh, you’ll never see my ass. Except on twitter.” Faison also reminisced about what it was like to work with his best friend, Zach Braff. He went as far as to joke, “He’s my life partner.” When I asked him if they would ever work together again, Faison immediately said, “I think so. I don’t think it’ll be a Scrubs movie, but it will be something that we’d just want to do together.”
